Offering an Authentic A.M.I. Accredited Montessori Education

We are a full day, year round school serving the needs of children ages 15 months to 12 years old. We also offer Montessori morning only programs, as well as a traditional school day that ends at 3:00 pm, both in a ten month format. Montessori classrooms provide a prepared environment where children are free to respond to their natural curiosity and desire to learn and grow. The children's inherent love of learning is encouraged by giving them opportunities to engage in spontaneous meaningful activities under the guidance of a trained Montessori teacher and assistant. Through their work, the children develop concentration, motivation, persistence, and discipline. Within the framework of order, the children progress at their own pace and rhythm, according to their individual capabilities, during the crucial years of development.

Our Full Day, Year Round Program
We are a twelve month school that meets the needs of children ages 15 months to 12 years. We continue our Montessori classroom environment throughout the summer. Your child can benefit from the continuity and enhanced memory retention that only a twelve month school provides.
During the summer, your child will receive lessons from their Montessori teacher all morning as well as strengthen bonds with their friends by sharing a variety of activities, and cultural lessons that are planned. Children 5 years and older also participate in field trips and elementary children may also receive (as an example) tennis or chess lessons.
We offer a full, extended day (7:00 am - 6:00 pm),and only close in observance of the most common legal holidays. Of course many of our parents choose to have their child participate only in the traditional academic school day,and ten month school year.

Our afternoon enrichment program, staffed by professionals who are outstanding in their fields of study, may include music, Spanish, science, and art.

While your child is in school, tuition includes all snacks and a nutritionally well-balanced hot lunch prepared daily by our chef.

Our management team has over twenty years of private Montessori school experience. We founded our first A.M.I. accredited Montessori school , the Montessori School at Emory in 1993. Our new spacious in-town campus offers children great outdoor areas, and a gymnasium.

The Montessori School of Alpharetta serves the Alpharetta and Roswell area, and is located adjacent to NewTown Park. Our children benefit from the park's many resources including the tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, picnic areas and walking paths. Our classrooms are fully equipped, and lessons are beautifully presented in order to engage your child's maximum interest. The Montessori School of Alpharetta is A.M.I. accredited for children ages 3-6.

The Montessori School of Cumming is nestled on almost four wooded acres offering our children a natural habitat to study.
